The songs lacked the same infectiousness in the melodies and energy in the beats. Wish I didn't spend around $20 on an album filled with all filler tracks. When I was really into the band back in the '90s, I bought their second album Speed Ballads without hesitation. I absolutely loved and still love Republica's first album. Enough with my rambling, here is my top 10 least favorite albums. I would take tonight's post with a grain of salt. I also am going to mention that the bands that I will be mentioning are bands I adore so what I say about the following albums do not reflect on the bands as a whole. I always talk about my favorite albums (past and present) so why not my least favorite albums? I should note that I do not hate the following albums, just disappointed in the body of work by the bands. It immediately gave me tonight's blog fodder.my least favorite albums.

Juno Reactor - The Golden Sun of the Great EastĪrmy of the Universe - The Hipsters SacrificeĮarlier today on my personal FB page, I had posted a status update about Delerium's Chimera and how it is one of my least favorite album from the ambient/pop group. Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters soundtrack

PlaTEAU - Kush Bush + Music For Grass Bars Snog - Everything is Under Ground (digital only)

God Module - Psychic Surgery: The Victims Among Friends and Perception EPs I have included more mainstream albums into this list unlike my previous list (whenever I had posted my last album release list). Today I thought I would do an updated and somewhat more comprehensive list of albums that are coming out in the coming days/weeks/months. I absolutely love the album (sans "Save Your Soul", my least favorite track on the album). I had shelled out $68 for the box set which includes a 100 page book (of course in German), a tribute to Blutengel's career and three cds featuring bonus tracks and piano versions of a few Blutengel classics. I finally got my copy of Monument yesterday. The live album brings back fond memories of the 2004 concert I went to. A couple of weeks ago I picked up End of An Era, at the time I didn't realize it was a live album. Lately I have been listenin to a lot of Nightwish especially Nightwish with Tarja. Definitely will end up on my best of list at the end of the year. I am really digging Heartthrob immensely.

I had heard that the duo went all electro-pop on their new album so I took a listen to a few tracks online and liked it enough that I bought a copy. That is until now with their latest album Heartthrob. I have heard a couple of albums by them and liked what I heard but being a big fan of electronic-based music, their previous material never really caught on with me. I'm not going to pretend and say that I am a diehard fan of Tegan and Sara. I can honestly say I can't pick a favorite between the band's two albums. After listening to a few tracks from the album on youtube,I finally found a website that was selling Orphans of the Storm and ordered it. I am so addicted to the album as well as the Swedish synthpop band in general. I finally got my copy of Moonlight Cove's first album from poponaut. Got a few kickass CDS in the last couple of weeks.
